Occasionally Ellesmere Farm has products for sale.  Currently we do offer eggs to a limited number of customers, however they are all currently spoken for in weekly orders.  Send us a line now if you wish to get on a wait list for future egg supply as we may expand our contingent of hens. Our chickens are free range and eat a variety of garden products and feed from our local Canadian supplier, Sharkare Feeds.

ORGANIC VS. NATURAL

It is truly a process to gain organic status in Canada, so it is important for consumers to understand that many farmers, although they don't have the official organic status, do not necessarily use chemicals, and prefer to grow their products in a natural way.  At Ellesmere Farm we do not use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.  All of our land grows naturally, and our best fertilizer is our composted horse manure !

Naturally Raised Beef from Ellesmere Farm

We are currently offering free range beef which has been processed and packaged in cryovac by Hilliers Foods in Qualicum BC.  Our cow was able to roam free  on the 40 acre pasture (see video), and lived a wonderful cow's life. In the last three months of her life she was offered a variety of grains in her supper bucket, which she very much enjoyed and helped her gain some extra fat during her final stage of growth in her relaxing paddock. She also ate alfalfa hay from the beuatiful similkameen valley which has contributed to her wonderful juicy flabour.    The meat is firm, velvety, fine-grained, lean, deep  red in colour and well-marbled.

Price includes delivery as long as you buy at least  $150 value.
